QLA’s UXO Survivor Information Centre is in the main street of Phonsavanh. In 2015, more than 2,100 people visited the Centre, which includes:
• an exhibition about UXOs, information about QLA’s programs, stories of UXO survivors and people with disabilities,
• a reading room with a collection of books relating to Laos and the bombing of Laos, and
• a shop which sells handicrafts produced by UXO survivors, PWD and impoverished people in UXO affected communities. Money raised goes to towards buying more materials for the producers’ groups to make more products and increase their income.
