QLA co-ordinates a range of livelihood initiatives and provides ongoing support to help beneficiaries achieve a sustainable livelihood. The village based approach to the training has proven to be the most effective way for QLA to ensure equal participation by QLA’s target group in the activities, social inclusion and peer to peer support after the training has been completed.

QLA co-ordinates training for village based producers groups and provides ongoing support for their continued skills improvement to improve product quality and increase their income.
Education and vocational support
QLA provides support for the cost of education to help ensure UXO survivors (or family members) continue with their schooling, despite their financial hardship.
Small business development and job creation
By working together, QLA and UXO survivor Leu Han developed marketing brochures to help promote his traditional massage business.
